Open Thread - September
John Roberts for Chief Justice. Hurricane Katrina was only half the problem. DaveFM DJ Barnes is an idiot. Karlbob Rovak is still not being prosecuted. What's getting your goat? This is the place to sound off; leave a comment!
I ran into an New Orleans persons and there is not hotline for her to call. She did not know where she was going and I had no idea what building she was talking about downtown. Not to mention the directions that she had made no sense and on top of all that the number she did have she got a voice mail that said the mail box is full. How are people suppose to get help when we make it so hard for them it get it? The woman had her husband in the car that well looked like its been through a hurricane and two small children in the car with no car seat to speak of. The clothes they had were in two laundry baskets. The directions that I gave them I don't know if it helped them or not, but I ended up giving them $20.00 dollars so they could something to eat. How are they supposed to relocate if they can't find the relocation office? They just made it out of the Superdome for Goodness sakes, we shouldn't make it any harder on them than it already has been.
