Job Announcement at Georgians for Choice
Some news passed along from President Kim:

Georgians for Choice Position Announcement:

Member Services Coordinator

Georgians for Choice, the statewide coalition for women's freedom, is devoted to women's access to the full range of reproductive health services and reproductive justice for all women. We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, detail-oriented Member Services Coordinator who will contribute to the atmosphere of service for and collaboration between member organizations.

Georgians for Choice is committed to reproductive rights as a fundamental human right. We recognize that the history and structure of our society is one in which low-income women, young women, rural women and women of color have the most barriers when accessing reproductive health care. The issue of choice is an issue of racial, social and economic justice. We invite applicants who are sensitive to interlocking oppressions and would like to work on this front to improve the lives of women.

Georgians for Choice is a small office in which everyone's contribution counts. We are looking for an independent self-starter who will work well with a team devoted to actual social change. The opinions and actions of the Member Services Coordinator will shape our work, help our member organizations, and enrich the reproductive freedom movement in Georgia. As the second staff person, the Member Services Coordinator will be integral in taking GfC to the next level.

The Member Services Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.
