Macon Telegraph | 03/01/2005 | This is Viewpoints for Tuesday: "Well here comes another bill aimed at taking away the voice of the property owner. Senate Bill 190 is in the rules committee. When are the Republicans going to get the message that the citizens of Georgia do not want their voice taken away when it comes to their private property rights?"
"For the first time in my life I am going to officially switch parties. I cannot be a part of a party that ignores the voice of the people that elected them. I will vote as my heart guides me, but don't call me a Republican."
