News - Dems not sold on Bush plan, despite courting: "Despite weeks of campaign-style barnstorming and rides in the presidential jet and limousine, Bush doesn't have a single Democrat by his side [on Social Security]. Many of them have set a bottom line: They won't support a plan that would increase the already hefty $427 billion federal budget deficit or cut future retirees' benefits"
